Come Learn from your local urban farmers the ins and outs of homesteading and what it takes to run a micro farm.
This is a 30 minute tour around The Denver Urban Boomstead and poke your head into Carbon Based Designs Wood-shop. We will discuss basics of growing your own food and what it takes to create an edible garden in Colorado climate. We will give you a quick low down on backyard bee and chicken keeping, hoop house building, cob ovens, setting up garden irrigation, collecting rain water, insect netting, worm farms, composting, and so much more.
