Mini Urban Micro Farm Tours

Come Learn from your local urban farmers the ins and outs of homesteading and what it takes to run a micro farm and how easy it is to start growing your own food.

This is a 30 minute tour around The Denver Urban Boomstead and poke your head into Mile High Micro Greens indoor Farm. (During Covid, you will not be able to enter Mile High Micro Greens but you will experience the Denver Urban Boomstead and our Permaculture Micro Farm Tour.) We will discuss basics of growing your own food and what it takes to create an edible garden in Colorado climate. We will give you a quick low down on backyard bee and chicken keeping, hoop house building, cob ovens, setting up garden irrigation, collecting rain water,  insect netting, worm farms, composting, and so much more.
