Explanation of our BOOM Beekeeping Services:
If you are interested in my Pollination Services, I charge $200 to delivery a local swarm I have caught from 1-844-SPY-BEES. Get on my list today by putting a $60 deposit down that goes towards the delivery fee and If I catch a swarm between April and June I can these honey bees can be delivered to your location. If you want to continue on with my pollination service I charge $100 per check/lesson. Take advantage of my time and learn my ways so you can become your own beekeeper after using my service for a year or more.
The pollination services includes my equipment, bees and hive-check services. The best part is you enjoy the fruits of our labor, and the bees labor by increasing your garden yield. There is no guarantee of colony survival or honey each season. Lastly, you are only guaranteed up to 2 quarts of Honey if the Bees make enough Honey to overwinter.
Ultimately, Keeping Bees in your backyard is not all about the Honey Harvest.
Furthermore, you are becoming a steward to your ecosystem by providing local pollinators a home. Plus, you are also ensuring yourself, local urban farmers and gardeners a successful growing season.

A private Lesson at your house/hive or @theboomstead includes 1 hour with Traci discussing Bees next to and up in personal in the hive. For instance, she will offer you tips on best ways to light your smoker and tricks to handling your hive tool because once you have those skills down your confidence will sky-rocket in the hive with more focused attention on the bees. Plus, she will show you the ins and outs of performing a hive check. Additionally, She will help you understand what you are trying to accomplish when you are performing a hive check. A veil or suite will be offered, but Traci typically operates without a veil or gloves. There are multiple reasons to go veilless and gloveless besides it being an amazingly natural way to connect with these gentle flying insects.

Our Free 15 minute phone Consultations will help you get ready for the day your bees arrive. First, we go through what you will need. Second, we decide together where the best location your bees will be living. Lastly, we try to cover any questions you have so you are ready to go with a nuc, package or wait for me to catch a swarm. Most importantly, we will help turn your first year beekeeping into the fun experience you have been looking for by choosing one of our lesson options below:
On Site Consult $100 – I can meet you at your location of choice for your new apiary and help you decide where is best to place your future honey bee colony. Typically, honey bees like to have their entrance fasting south on off the ground but each location provides different circumstance for best placement.
A Denver Ride-a-long $100 can be 1 hour or more . I have a Denver Pollination Route with Clients who allow me to keep bees in their backyard. This is a great way for you to get an experience of what it takes to be a beekeeper.
A 1 hour lesson or more @theboomstead $120 – Get suited up and ready to inspect your first hive! Traci will take the lead or allow you to perform the entire hive check with her guidance and skills. This is a once in a life time opportunity to work with the bees. I always welcome someone who is willing to get their hands sticky to jump in and bee calm while helping me perform the hive checks at the same time bee side by side learning about bees with me. (FYI: This Private lesson Price can include a buddy who is excited about bees too!)

Important Client Note: Boom Beekeeping Clients enjoy the increased garden yield that honeybees produce. In fact, you may also get a portion of any honey produced during the season. When we have a honey harvest you will receive the honey packaged and ready to eat. (The amount of honey varies but usually a quart, about 3 pounds, or more!)
Boom Beekeeping provides the following services: delivery of bees, equipment, tools and labor, hive checks & management, private lessons, honey harvest, . *We provide what is necessary to keep the bees happy and healthy all year long.
