The easiest way to prepare dinner while away…one word… Crock-pot.
Last week I was in a rush to get to and from work and I wanted a nice warm bowl of chill waiting for me when I got home. I had 20 minutes here is what happened.
I scanned the cabinets: I had black beans, pinto beans, louisiana chili beans and seasonings. I needed buffalo meat, onions, and peppers, along with some tomatoes.
So I rushed to the local grocery store a mile up the street , planned out my shopping route and I was back at home in a flash with all the additional ingredients.
I opened it all up and thew it in the crockpot. Added some chili powder, garlic, peppering and some additional seasonings, whatever you like! Everything besides the buffalo meat which waited for me to cook once I was back in a couple hours from work.
Boom Besides a little browning of the meat, you got Chili cooking at home while you are on the go. YUMMY , yummy yummy yummy!
