High Permaculture Entrepreneurs are Starting an Amazon FBA

And the 3 reasons why you should also be starting an Amazon FBA.

The First reason you should start an Amazon FBA is at least 50% of Americans are purchasing on Amazon daily. And only a small percentage is the seller.

That means that half of every person in America is potentially on the app right now. Literally, someone you know or I know is using the app on their phone and pressing buy now and two days later it is showing up in their house. What an insane technology we are all just accustomed too. So, you think amazon does all of this, well they do handle most of it. But have you ever thought of how the product gets into the amazon shipping facility and who put it there. It use to be Jeff Bezos and his homies but now his homies are anyone in any place who has an internet connection, a business license and a bank account.  I am here to tell you this is been a long time coming. My husband and I have been trying to establish a passive income strategy for at least 5 years if not a decade. Time moves fast and if you don’t implement what you learn you will be stuck in analysis paralysis before you even get started. (See what I did there?) I recently heard Tom Bilyeu’s say on his podcast Impact Theory “If you don’t have a five year plan, you are already there” He was quoting someone else but damn. We really need to start thinking about our future selves.

So in order to avoid sitting on your ass just watching YouTube vides on how to to start an Amazon FBA. I am going to give you the 5 steps you need to get started (that took us at least 6 months of waiting around, waiting to make the basic steps to at least get started) Achieving your goals starts with one baby step at a time and then another step and soon enough you are walking baby.

Another reason you should be starting an Amazon FBA is you also feel you have the ability to generate a side income with some basic steps and sales strategies. We all want a side-hustle aka we all want to make money on the side. We should all be dong something to increase our happiness. And let’s be honest having enough money to pay all your bills, pay off all your debt, save money, invest in your future with all the different ways, and also have left overs for travel, clothing and all other desires like good food, beer and weed does in fact help generate happiness and sustain happiness. We all deserve to live our best lives and do what we want everyday. Sometimes you might have to do something that annoys you but it gets you to everything you have dream of, perspective is everything. Also friendly reminder, you get to be alive today, the coolest time in our world where we can literally achieve anything we want if we try and not worry about basic necessities (for the most part).

Step 1. Open up your S-Corp or LLC.

We prefer S-Corp go check out our other blog post about why. But long story short it well help you not have to pay as much federal income taxes when it comes to your business earnings.

Step 2. If you have an S-Corp also open up a  new DBA or Tradename.

This just helps you organize your income and profits for each company at the end of the year. Your write-offs and expenses can all be totaled together at the end of the year for each of your businesses when it comes to filing.

Step 3. Your EIN is your business license.

If you live in the state of Colorado, your EIN is your business license.

Step 4. Make a personal email that ends with the name of your Amazon store.

Ours is salesteam@aboomlife.com , Email us here with any questions or comments about this blog post too.

I would also make a website or at the very least a separate page on your blog that will be high lighting your amazon store products.  Here is our page for our A Boom Life Amazon Shopping Experience. (like coming soon…)

Step 5. Open up your FBA account.

You will have to prove your identity with your drivers license or your passport plus a bank statement and credit card to prove proof of address and to pay for you membership. Which is $40 a month once you start selling.

After doing these first five FBA steps you still have more to do but you are that much closer to making your first sale.

In order to make your first sale you need to do at least the following steps:

  • Land your first wholesale account,
  • Download  amazon scout plug in,
  • Research and Watch products daily,
  • Pick a product that your wholesaler works with and then  place your order.
  • Plus set up you account with amazon to hold your product at one of their shipping facilities
