(3) Netflix movie We watched that is underrated- The outsider with Jared ledo, He plays An American soldier imprisoned in postwar Japan enters the dark world of the yakuza, adopting their way of life in repayment for his freedom. (Rotten tomatoes only gave it 1 star but we were entertained)

(4) Denver restaurants you should try :

  • The Preservery – locally owned, farm to table goodness, their cocktails are on point – Try their not your uncle’s carrot juice gin cocktail and they also bake the most delicious bread & if you like fried chicken, go for lunch and try their sandwich or dinner has some damn good chicken wings.
  • Cart Driver  – also locally owned, pizza place inside a shipping container complex, Cart Driver’s is amazing in it’s ability to put out tons of hand tossed pizza to a large crowd in the space the size of 2 shipping containers. They make craft batch cocktails, so drinks are smooth and go down fast. I am not a mousse person either and their chicken liver mousse was insanely delicious.

(5)@theboomstead projects going down: Soil delivery; transfer and topped off garden beds in green house and added some to our growing “rain barrels” ; We started our first two treys of microgreens and it is going good so far; my dad is taking care of them this weekend while we head to Breck for a mini-crawfish boil fun and some shred stick time; We had all of our cisterns topped off from the water delivery on Friday (we also had to do a home depot run to by a ball valve and some PVC to fashion a on/off switch for the cistern we bought last week); We are in our 2nd week of the March session for coaching boomsports and it is spring break this coming week ( I feel like I am back in school in the best way – being able to go on spring, fall, summer and winter vacations) We are adding new classes starting in April for the Summer sessions that we are excited about; We made the switch from cedar wood shavings to paper shavings in our humanure bin, it seems to be working so far, no smell in the house when we cover but the ultimate test is when the buckets get taken out to the composting pile and we see if the smell is better or worse than using cedar wood shavings; Amazon is the best, we use it for everything , so the prime membership is where it is at. Get the best price and free shipping on all your consumer needs. We order 2000 balloon this week for an super affordable price and we ordered a new book The Art of Fermentation: An In-Depth Exploration of Essential Concepts and Processes from around the Worldby Sandor Ellix Katz
