How to Heal Yourself by Initiating the Healing Response.

Just your local Witch Doctor here with a PSA for everyone on this planet: You are your own healer and the time is now to Initiate the Healing Response. 

Healing ourselves starts with acceptance that we can in fact heal ourselves.

Healing our bodies ourselves is possible under the right conditions and we have an opportunity everyday to try in someway. The sad truth is we have all been brainwashed into thinking that hospitals and doctors have the answer we are looking for when it comes to solving all our health problems. I have to let you all in on a little secret, a doctor is only required to take one health/diet class during their entire academic career and then we are told to go see them once a year for a health check-up and advice on how best to live and feel better. What a crock of shit if you ask me. Also, word to the wise if your male doctor has “man-titties” and/or your “female doctor” looks like Porky the Pig, they more than likely have central metabolic syndrome which is a great sign they don’t know shit about health. So, whatever advice they do offer you is probably “sponsored by” a pharmaceutical company trying to push you the new drug “cure.” 

So, Who is your primary care physician or PCP?

The answer should be YOU,  not Dr. Daryl or Dr. Darla.  If I have a broken bone sticking out of my body, experiencing stroke or under cardiac arrest, yes please ER Doctors help a player out. However our body, mind and spirit depends on OUR OWN PRIMARY CARE EVERYDAY, Our overall health depends on this simple truth.  You are your own Primary Care “Physician”. 

Obviously, we are all at different points on our healing and self discovery journey. We are all different but the healing modalities are all the same it is up to us to implement them and use them at the necessary points in our lives. The universal energy we can receive if our mind and hearts are open can also make the difference we are needing. Even just the subtle recognition of this need in behavior could be all it takes to receive the healing energies coming and going all around us. 

If you are having trouble believing this say this affirmations daily: 

  • My heart is open to receive healing and love. 
  • My body is open to receive healing and love
  • My spirit is open to receive healing and love. 

The saying “Our body keeps the score” holds true my dear and when you have tried everything modern medicine and your doctor has advised you to do from blood work, ultrasounds, urine samples, cat scans, etc. and still don’t have any answers than it’s time to take back control and look inwards and then do something about it.

You have a choice every day to heal or to suffer. Choose healing and your suffering will eventually fade. Choose suffering and it will last forever. 

Side note: I choose to not have health insurance because I believe western medicine is banking on our ignorance and on us just paying our high premiums because “just in case” we need it and frankly that is not a good enough reason. 

When you think about it, Health insurance is still somewhat of a new system roughly just over 100 years old and the precursor to health insurance was pre-paid services and the precursor to pre-paid services was just going to the doctor if you were on your deathbed. Honestly, health insurance should be called disease insurance or “what if” insurance. The health care industry doesn’t care about your health at all, all they care about is profit. So they need customers like you paying the premiums and meeting their deductibles and I hate to say it keeping you sick so you keep thinking you need them.The pharmaceutical industry is how doctors get paid and  by encouraging drug use to fix all our health issues is an essential part of the business makes them in reality the biggest drug lords of our time. 

The United States health care system is leaving us hopelessly lost and in fear. The time is now to take back control of our health and our lives.  So what is one to do, If your doctor doesn’t know what is wrong with you and they frankly don’t give a fuck about you unless you are an emergency situation.  Calling Doctor Google are you there? The great thing about Doctor Google is he has an endless supply of answers and knowledge on what could be wrong with you, and remedies on how to fix you. (This might be where I am suppose to put a warning label or disclosure statement saying I am not a doctor and my advice is just that and please see your  primary care physician for real help or fucking don’t and start being your own PCP) 

Word to the wise: You need to know this simple truth that you don’t in fact need to know what is exactly wrong with you to Initiate the Healing Response so lets find out how to ItHR!

I believe Self-care is the number one step to feeling and looking good. Self-care does in fact initiate the healing response. How far you decide to take your self-care is where change and progress lives. Also you can’t help others unless you help your self first. So self-care is the foundation to healing others and our planet.

Here are 10 basically free ways you can initiate the healing response: 

  1. Sunrise Sun Exposure (Go on a 30 minutes walk within first hour of waking up)
  2. Incorporate the 4 elements into your morning routine (Water – drink 8oz glass of water in the am (we are dehydrated when we wake up) , Air – 30 minute morning walk, Fire – Sun exposure on the walk, Earth – putting bare feet on the ground (a little harder to do in the winter)
  3. Cold Shower or Cold Plunge in natural water or ice bath or Weekly Dry Sauna usage. (Not free if you have to buy the ice or sauna but the benefits of cold and heat exposure out weigh the cost and effort of an ice bath or driving to a glacier or paying for sauna access) It also might be the quickest and easiest way to initiate the healing response.

  5. Create a Daily Yoga Practice using down dog app (not free, but only $15 app that gives you access to an in home yoga practice that caters to your skill level and time). Yoga is one way to directly interact with universal consciousness which awakens your chakras and energy systems. 
  6. Daily Meditation Practice. 17 minutes and the Ziva method have been my ticket to unlocking my subconscious, healing my soul and igniting my spirit and power. But 10 minutes can be a perfect time to reset your entire system.
  7. Purify the content you consume 20 minutes before bed time and 20 minutes after you wake up. What you feed your subconscious is what we become. Imprint positive, loving, healing information and you will receive it while you sleep and when you wake up. 
  8. Intermittent Fast everyday, create a 48-72 hour monthly fasting goals to initiate autophagy.
  9. Consume Less bullshit. By cleaning up your diet with fasting, you also reduce the amount of food you consume each day, which should also limit the amount of sugar entering your diet too. Be conscious about eating and drinking alcohol 2 hours before bed time. Only have one  low glycemic fatty cup of coffee per day. None of this pot of coffee shit and caffeine needs to be consumed before noon. This also goes for less death scrolling on social media and Netflix binging, which leads me to number 10.
  10. Post and Ghost and create boundaries for you social media usage. Your time is precious. Time is Money but time wasted death scrolling or procrastinating on nothing useful is time that you are not spending on your self and discovering your true authentic self. Healing takes times so put time into it and you will experience results. 
Time Doesn’t heal all wounds but you can heal yourself if you put time in to yourself. Make Self Care the most important part of your day, so that you can be there for others the rest of the day.

Again let me repeat myself just in case your forgot and need an extra reminder: You don’t need to know what is wrong with you initiate the healing response , find your healing modalities that suit your personality type and start doing them asap. It is up to you to take action and your miraculous body will take care of the rest. Your body is a beast of a vessel waiting be fed either positive of negative energy. It’s up to you decide how you will feed the beast.
